Sasha's on Shaw
Wine? Yes please.A cold January night. The week was short but somehow a three day work week left me craving my friend named Pinot. I love the Shaw neighborhood and all it has to offer. We went in and were seated and had a delicious bottle of Pinot Noir within minutes. We were hungry so we ordered just the hummus. Going into Sasha’s makes me feel like I’m coming home. The fire pits outside and a fire going in the corner. The big windows make it so open, yet cozy with the fire. One odd aspect was the spaceheaters, perhaps the heat was broke? Luckily I was dressed accordingly and the cold didn’t bother me, or maybe it was the wine? Our hummus was good. There was plenty of it, and it had a flavorful combination that went well with our Pinot. We debated getting more to eat there or to try somewhere else. We sadly parted ways with our wine, and left to venture to try a new place to eat. I give Sasha’s a 5 for ambience. Service a 3. Food/Drink 4. I am dreaming about the next time I can go to Sasha's for more vino.
